The population of England and Wales has reached a new record high, according to the first statistical release of the ten-year census, the statistics agency said, with much of the population growth being due to immigration.
After spending more than a year publishing the first aggregated census data, the government reported that the population of England and Wales had increased by 6.3 per cent in the last ten years of the enrollment period, bringing the total population to almost 60 million. Combined with the other two important members of the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland and Scotland, the population approached 67 million.
Figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed England’s population to reach 56,489,800 and Wales’ 3,107,500. This is 6.3 percent more than the 3.5 million population in 2011. Much of this increase was the result of “positive net migration” of two million people, which amounted to 57.5% of the increase.
Although the census was done in March, a full breakdown of immigration and demographic changes has yet to be released, with the government saying that additional releases are due next year and in 2023.
A partial release of Tuesday’s data claimed population growth had stalled, with the 6.3% growth recorded between 2011 and 2021 compared to 7.8% between 2001 and 2011.
The claim that population growth has fallen has been met with some credibility, including by “Mr.

But the population growth was criticized by Alp Mehmet, head of Migration Watch: “The census confirms massive population growth beyond the growth rates in countries like France and Germany.
“There is a lot of pressure in the upstream and downstream parts of the UK with increasing pressure on services, GP sites, residential roads and schools. Given nearly all of the recent population growth due to uncontrolled mass migration, the UK is one of the most populous countries in Europe and London is the most congested city on the planet,” comments provided by Breitbart London.
“More than half of the population thinks immigration is too high. The situation is very strong for a significant reduction in immigration. The government should listen.”
While the Census Bureau has so far been unable to provide a full analysis of the country’s demographics, there are signs that immigration is playing an important role in shaping the country’s future.
In the last two decades, the foreign population has risen to nine million, and ethnic minorities to thirteen million, according to a report published last year by the Migration Watch think tank.

Population growth from immigration over the past decade has coincided with the leadership of the Conservative Party, which came to power in 2010. Under Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the Conservatives strayed away from a long-standing Conservative promise that was never fulfilled. To reduce the net migration in the country from “hundreds of thousands to tens of thousands”.
In 2017, former Finance Minister George Osborne admitted that the party leadership could not truly fulfill their commitment to society and did not believe in politics in private.
Conservatives are unwilling or unwilling to “regain control” of the country’s borders and stop illegal immigration, as well as not keeping that promise. This year, more than 12,000 illegal immigrants crossed the English Channel in rubber boats from France.
