At a press conference with his Austrian counterpart Alexander Schallenberg, he stressed the “importance of cooperation with the United Nations to ensure the safe export of grain and the seriousness of food security”, stressing that “Egypt is in contact with all parties and its goal is to restore stability and cease hostilities altogether in order to completely end the crisis.
Speaking about Egypt’s economic program, Shukri emphasized that “Egypt will make every effort to coordinate and cooperate with all partners in order to restore security and stability in the European arena and avoid consequences affecting the countries of the world.” For his part, Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said that “his country agrees with Egypt in its vision of establishing stability in Libya”, explaining that “the recent demonstrations in Libya are the result of a lack of consensus and the Libyan street’s rejection of the lack of consensus.”
