NASA released the deepest image of the world

Days before the release of the first high-resolution color images taken by the James Webb Space Telescope, the US space agency NASA has revealed a remarkable experimental image that proves the depth of the universe.

The image, resulting from 72 exposures over a 32-hour period, was captured by the telescope’s Precision Guidance Detector, a tool that allows the advanced spacecraft to target and focus on objects of interest.

This is one of the deepest images of the world, the US space agency said in a statement.

According to NASA, the image provides a “stunning glimpse” of what the scientific community and thousands of enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting: the first high-resolution color image taken by the James Webb Telescope, due to be released on July 12.

And NASA President Bill Nelson revealed during a press conference late last month at the Space Telescope Science Institute, the operational center of the $10 billion space engineering critical instrument, that the telescope is exploring places. Far from any point that humanity has looked at before.

The James Webb Telescope was launched in December and is now 1.5 million kilometers from Earth.

James Webb has the ability to look farther than any previous telescope in the world, thanks to a primary mirror and an instrument that receives infrared signals that allow him to peer through dust clouds.

In particular, James Webb is expected to allow observations of the first galaxies that formed only a few hundred million years after the Big Bang and exoplanets.

The US space agency tweeted that the countdown had begun for the “big show” of the first high-resolution color image taken by the James Webb Space Telescope, due to be released on July 12.

Spectroscopy is a tool for knowing the chemical and molecular composition of distant objects. In the case of a planet, this could help determine its atmosphere, monitor the presence of water, or analyze its soil.
