“The South Korean military has detected trajectories of what is believed to be be a multiple rocket launcher this Sunday, July 10,” the South Korean Armed Forces General Staff said in a statement.
This is the second time in a month that Seoul has detected the use of this North Korean weapon system, which is condemned by the international community.
North Korea, which has been completely cut off from the outside due to the Covid-19 pandemic since 2020, has ignored pleas from South Korea or the United States. to resume dialogue negotiations on denuclearization, on hold since 2019, and even rejected offers from Seoul to receive vaccines against the new coronavirus.
