Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir revealed how US President Joe Biden and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman dealt with the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi during their meeting yesterday.
Al-Jubeir, who participated in this meeting, said in an interview with CNN: “Biden brought up the Khashoggi case at the beginning of the reception and pointed out that it is a problem.”

Asked by the broadcaster if Al-Jubeir’s impression was that “Biden accepted your explanation for the murder of Khashoggi,” the Saudi minister said, “I think so,” after the announcer asked him, “And (O Biden) didn’t raise this issue again? In response to the question, “And what is there to provoke it?”, he reiterated that Saudi Arabia has dealt with this crime and held those responsible accountable.
Regarding Khashoggi’s ex-fiancee’s request to Biden to ask the Crown Prince about the whereabouts of the murdered journalist’s body, Al-Jubeir said: “I have not seen the question of Khashoggi’s fiancee and I do not know that the Saudi side is aware of this issue. The location of the body” by reminding that the Saudi authorities conducted an investigation on this case and published its results.
Biden had previously announced that he discussed the issue of Khashoggi’s murder in his meeting with Mohammed bin Salman, and that the Khashoggi case “was at the top of the agenda of this meeting, and he emphasized that he does not regret his threats to build Saudi Arabia after Khashoggi’s murder.” “Saudi Arabia is a hated country.”
