The difference between the two peoples is clear. The Ukrainians maintain their dignity, the Russians play the role of executioners. This is one of the most recent theses defended by Volodymyr Zelensky and published by the Ukrainian president on his official Facebook page.
“Russian society, with so many murderers and executioners, will be maimed for generations through its own fault,” Zelensky writes, using as an argument the war crimes that have been perpetrated. About his people, the words are quite different: “Let us preserve our humanity and our civic spirit.”
In this Saturday’s publication, the Ukrainian president promises, as he has done on other occasions, to rebuild the country destroyed by the war with Russia. His approach is slightly different, and Zelensky now points to the need to rebuild educational institutions.
“We will definitely rebuild everything that was destroyed by the occupants. Each of the more than two thousand educational institutions: each kindergarten, each school, institute, university. And most importantly: we will preserve our humanity and our civic spirit. Russian society, with so many murderers and executioners, will be maimed for generations through its own fault.”
On Friday, the Russian army attacked two universities in Mykolaiv: the Mykolaiv Pedagogical Institute and the Shipbuilding Institute were bombarded with at least ten missiles.
“There are no words in normal human language that can describe the way the Russian state has degraded. It is a double crime to destroy educational institutes, so that there are no educational establishments and so that new teachers cannot be trained”, the President of Ukraine stressed.
