In the past hours, the Russian Air Defense Force shot down one of the most advanced warplanes participating in the war in Ukraine. But the problem is that according to the western media, this plane belongs to Moscow.
The American magazine Forbes website announced that the downed plane was a Russian Su-34M bomber.
Russian publicist Yevgeny Padubny recorded a video of the downed plane on Sunday over the city of Alchevsk in the Russian-occupied eastern region of Ukraine.
On Monday, Padubny posted this video on his Telegram channel and wrote: Last night, the Russian air defense forces shot down a target in the sky of Alchevsk. He added: “The nature of the target is not clear. Flame balls fell on the ground for more than a minute.”

But a video of the wreckage has identified it as the Sukhoi-34M, one of only 10 bombers delivered by Sukhoi to the Russian Air Force, according to the Forbes website.
The Russian Air Force plans to replace the old Su-24M Su-34M bombers.
The first fighter of this fighter began its mission only last month in the 277th Air Battalion of the Russian Air Force. The official Russian media confirmed the participation of this battalion in the war in Ukraine.
Despite the advanced electronic capabilities of the Sukhoi 34M bombers, this did not prevent them from being accidentally shot down by Russian forces.
The downed Sukhoi 34 is the 11th Sukhoi missile that the Russians have lost since the start of the attack on Ukraine on February 23, according to the Forbes magazine website. It means that 10% of Sukhoi fighters have been built.
