Tesla CEO Elon Musk denied having an affair with the Google co-founder’s wife late Sunday.
Elon Musk said on Twitter that he and Google co-founder Sergey Brin are still friends, denying a report that he was having an affair with Brin’s wife, Nicole Shanahan.
Musk denied the report, saying on Twitter: “Sergi and I are friends and were at a party last night. I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years and both times with lots of people. No romance. does not have.” to Reuters
Musk’s tweets came after the Wall Street Journal reported that he had a brief fling with Nicole Shanahan, citing unnamed sources.
According to this famous newspaper, Nicole had a relationship with Musk last December when they attended an art exhibition in Miami.
The case prompted Breen, who is worth $95 billion, to file for divorce from Shanahan earlier this year, citing “disagreement.”
Sources said Shanahan will only receive $1 million in divorce settlement due to a prenuptial agreement between her and the Google founder.
The new report surprised many because of the friendship between Brin and Musk, especially since the former helped Elon Musk when he started Tesla.
Tesla and Google did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment outside regular business hours.
