A source in the Russian Ministry of Defense indicated that “Ukrainian territorial defense units are firing at Ukrainian servicemen who are trying to leave the battlefields.”

“During the withdrawal on July 25 from the settlement of Pokrovskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the remnants of the 15th battalion of the 58th motorized rifle brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine came under heavy fire from militants of the 118th defense brigade of Ukraine, the brigade is stationed in the village of Bakhmotskoye.

The report of the Ministry of Defense dated July 28 on the course of the special operation states that the Ukrainian forces continue to suffer significant losses in equipment and personnel. With its high-precision strikes, the Russian Air Force managed to eliminate more than 130 servicemen of the 60th rifle brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region and up to 70 servicemen of the 72nd mechanized brigade in the Artemovsky district.

In just the past 24 hours, Russian forces managed to destroy 9 Ukrainian command posts, 6 weapons depots, two batteries of Organ multiple launch rocket systems and a Grad launcher. In addition, the Russian Su-35 multirole fighter was able to destroy the Ukrainian S-300 missile battery.
