According to the website of the Ukrainian presidency, Perild, Zelensky signed a decree on the awarding of the defense award to Ukraine on Saturday.
Based on the text of this ruling, “title of honor” was defined, “maps” specifying the form of the award and the forms of “appreciation letter” were approved.
According to the decree, the award includes several categories of people, including “soldiers, security personnel, employees of law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, police officers, members of voluntary organizations of regional communities, employees of a number of government departments (… ) who directly participated in the defense of Ukraine against Russian aggression.
The award can also be given to “employees of executive and government authorities, employees of defense companies (…) who have shown dedication and made a significant personal contribution to strengthening the defense of Ukraine.”
According to the decree, “awards should be awarded to people who have performed voluntary activities or actively participated in the implementation of tasks related to the defense of Ukraine, protection of the security of the people and the interests of the state against Russia. Aggression.”
