Domino’s Pizza has been forced to pay more than $5,000 to settle a case brought by Janice Walsh, an Irish woman in her forties who was asked her age during an interview at the restaurant.

A member of the interview committee contacted her, and she apologized, explaining that they didn’t know it was inappropriate to ask her age when interviewing her for the job.
In another conversation with another Domino’s Pizza employee named Straban, he told him that this job is suitable for young people aged 18-30.
Walsh then sued Domino’s Pizza, accusing it of age and gender discrimination in hiring the delivery driver.
Her cause is also supported by the Equality Commission of Northern Ireland, which aims to create equal opportunities for both sexes and all races and religious beliefs.
While the court decided to pay him financial compensation in the amount of 4250 pounds (about 5031 US dollars) from the “Domino Pizza” restaurant in Strabane, and the restaurant also apologized for this incident.
