Fatah Alliance leader Hadi al-Amiri pointed out that “the initiative of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, is a bold initiative that deserves appreciation and praise and came at a critical moment.”

Al-Amiri noted that “As-Sadr’s initiative to end the armed violence is courageous and deserves appreciation and praise”, urging everyone to “follow the example of Mr. Muqtada Al-Sadr with similar steps to stop the bloodshed and break the strife.”

Earlier in the day, Sadr Movement leader Muqtada al-Sadr “sorry to the Iraqi people who have suffered the most from what is happening”, pointing out that “Iraq has now become a hostage to corruption and violence” and explained, “Now I am criticizing the revolution Sadrist movement, as I criticized the revolution.
