Abdullahyan explained: “We discussed the Astana direction with the Russian side as part of our efforts to end the suffering of the Syrian people,” noting that “we discussed the situation in Iraq with the Russian side, and our positions on the events coincide. there.” He stressed that “the situation in Iraq is of great concern, and we hope that the situation will stabilize again.”

In addition, he stressed: “We support dialogue in Yemen to resolve humanitarian crises,” noting that “Tehran and Moscow are holding regional consultations on Libya, and we believe that Libyans should decide the fate of their country on their own.” He noted: “We discussed the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and the measures taken by Moscow to avoid possible damage,” stressing that “we will not allow any side to interfere in the affairs of Iran.”

Abdullahyan stated: “We are strengthening our cooperation with Russia in the energy sector and there are many areas that we are looking to develop.” He emphasized: “We need strong guarantees regarding a return to the nuclear agreement”, noting that “we want the International Atomic Energy Agency to stay away from politicization and work only within a professional framework.”

He expressed “optimism about the lifting of sanctions related to our nuclear program”, noting that “we received the American response and studied it carefully, and we need strong guarantees.” He stressed that “the goal of the negotiations in Vienna is to reach a solid and stable agreement on the revival of the nuclear agreement.”
