Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said his country has enough strength to defend its territorial integrity from Turkish threats.

Dendias responded during a joint statement with French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna to a question about statements made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that threatened Athens when he said “Turkey could come at any moment without warning.” I saw Erdogan’s recent statements, but he will study the entire text later.”

Dendias explained, “The Turkish side has made many shameful and unacceptable statements in recent days,” stressing that “the same mention of the occupation of the Greek islands is indicative of the level of Turkish statements.”

He added: “I must say that Greece always acts and acts on the basis of international law and international maritime law, but I advise everyone who dreams of attacks and conquests to think three or four times. We have enough strength to protect our homeland. , national independence and territorial integrity, and we are fully convinced of our alliances and the positions of our partners.”
