The United States will apply sanctions against the Revolutionary Guards and several Iranian companies involved in delivering combat drones to Russia for use in the conflict in Ukraine, the US Treasury Department said on Thursday.
The sanctions are mainly aimed at the Revolutionary Guards, Iran’s paramilitary body, which has already been the target of several measures, in particular due to the Iranian nuclear issue, and is also on the US “black list” of “terrorist organizations”. .
