Bayern lose in Augsburg and have gone four games in a row without winning in the Bundesliga

With three wins, three draws and now a loss, Bayern are enjoying their worst start to the Bundesliga since 2010/11 and could end the day five points off the lead.

A goal from Berisha, in the 59th minute, guaranteed Augsburg’s victory and their first victory at home this season, which came from three consecutive defeats at their stadium, one of them very lopsided against Freiburg (4-0).

For now, Bayern remains in fourth place with 12 points, three behind Borussia Dortmund, who took command of the competition, while Augsburg moved away from the relegation places and ‘jumped’ to 11th place, with nine posts.

Without Raphael Guerreiro, who was injured, the Dortmund team received and beat Schalke 04, 1-0, with Moukoko, a 17-year-old player, scoring the only goal of the match, in the 79th minute, shortly after being thrown into the Ruhr derby, the ‘Revierderby’.

Borussia already has 15 points and now awaits the match between Union Berlin, second with 14, which hosts Wolfsburg on Sunday, and Freiburg, third with 13, which visits Hoffenheim on the same day.

Union Berlin is the rival of Sporting Braga in the Europa League and, last Thursday, in Minho, they were defeated by the Portuguese team (1-0).

Bayer Leverkusen, FC Porto’s rival in the Champions League, drew (1-1) at Werder Bremen, now after an unthinkable 15th place, just above the relegation zone, with just five points.

Demirbay, in the 57th minute, made the Leverkusen team dream of a second victory in the Bundesliga, but the Serbian Veljkovic, in the 82nd, left everything tied.

In Stuttgart, Tiago Tomás scored his first goal of the season, but the home team ended up losing 3-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt, Sporting’s rival in the ‘Champions’.

The Portuguese striker, loaned precisely by the ‘lions’ to Stuttgart, ‘won’ in the 79th minute, reducing the difference to 2-1 at that time. Rode (six), Japan’s Kamada (55) and Croatia’s Jakic (88) scored goals for Eintracht, which is in sixth place with 11 points.
