Mexico’s National Seismological Center announced that a strong earthquake of 6.7 on the Richter scale shook Mexico on Thursday morning, in addition to a strong earthquake in the Mexican capital.
According to the National Seismological Center, the epicenter of this earthquake was located in the state of Michoacán in western Mexico and 81 km from the city of Qualcomán.

A strong earthquake hit the same area a few days ago, and buildings shook thousands of miles away in Mexico’s capital, according to seismologists, recalling two major earthquakes in 1985 and 2017.
The National Seismological Agency has declared the magnitude of this earthquake as 7.4 and the United States Geological Survey has declared its magnitude as 7.6.
The epicenter was 59 kilometers (37 mi) south of Qualcomm in the Pacific coastal state of Michoacán and hundreds of kilometers west of the Mexican capital, Mexico.
