Pro-Russian authorities in the four Ukrainian regions controlled by Russia affirmed on Tuesday that the “yes” prevails, according to the preliminary results of the annexation referendum denounced by the international community, three Russian news agencies indicated.
According to the Ria Novosti, Tass and Interfax agencies, the authorities of each of the four Ukrainian regions said that the “yes” won between 97 and 98 percent of the votes, when counting between 20 and 27 percent. of the ballots.
In kyiv, the head of Ukrainian diplomacy, Dmytro Kouleba, has already said that the results of the four “referendums” orchestrated by Moscow “will not change” Ukraine’s behavior towards the Russian army.

Ukraine and the international community have declared that they will not recognize the results and the validity of the referendums.
In 2014, Russia used the result of a referendum held under military occupation to legitimize the annexation of Ukraine’s Black Sea peninsula of Crimea.
