Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev stressed the importance of “coordinating efforts to identify customers and perpetrators of explosions on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.”

And he revealed at a meeting of the heads of the CIS intelligence services that “from the first minutes immediately after reports of explosions in the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, the West launched an active campaign to find the perpetrators. However, it is clear that the US is primarily the main beneficiary from an economic point of view.

“It seems necessary to make a concerted effort to expose the masterminds and perpetrators of this crime, which can serve as a good example of our cooperation,” said the Secretary of the Russian Security Council.

It is noteworthy that on the night of September 26, a leak occurred in one of the branches of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark, southeast of Bornholm. A gas leak was also recorded from both gas pipelines in Nord Stream 1 northeast of Bornholm.
