President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that “Poland is concentrating its armed forces near the Belarusian border, and Lithuania is trying to keep up.”

During a meeting on military security issues, he pointed out that “Poland is the most active, a new mechanized division is being formed in the south of the Belarusian direction, personnel brigades are being created for the territorial defense of Poland in the north and east of the country”, emphasizing that “the intensity of reconnaissance flights in our boundaries are not reduced.

In this context, Lukashenka stated that “operational combat exercises are being actively conducted, including with the participation of the Paperd training ground in Lithuania, which is located only 15 kilometers from the state border of Belarus”, adding that “under the cover of Kyiv, a number of European countries are carrying out implementation of his plans to re-equip with modern weapons and equipment, to strengthen his armies.

According to the Belarusian President, there is a NATO grouping of about 25,000 servicemen in the neighboring countries of Belarus.
