Sources have revealed new details about Saturday’s bridge incident that led to the explosion of the Kerch bridge connecting Russia and Crimea.

Ferries (4-5 ferries) for passengers with a capacity of up to 100 people will be launched from Saturday between Crimea and the Kuban region in southern Russia.
Also, the traffic of cars will be stopped for at least a few weeks for repairs and to prevent further vandalism.
Damage to the railway is not significant as it is possible to return to traffic within a few days.
The press service of the Crimean Railways reported that at 06:05 a truck exploded on the “Kerch” bridge and some of the fuel tanks of the train that was moving over the bridge caught fire.
According to the media center of Russia’s National Anti-Terrorism Committee, a fuel tank on a freight train caught fire as a result of a truck explosion on the bridge, which caused the fire.
