Russia is using missiles without nuclear warheads
Britain’s Defense services, in its latest update on the war in Ukraine, say Russian forces are using missiles without nuclear warheads, which could indicate Russia is running out of its weapons stocks.
The UK Ministry of Defense, according to The Guardian, reports that there are images of the wreckage of an apparently downed AS-15 Kent cruise missile, which was designed in the 1980s “as a nuclear delivery system only.”

The British believe that the warhead may have been replaced by ballast, which damages but does not have the destructive effects of a warhead. “Russia almost certainly expects such missiles to act as decoys and divert Ukrainian air defences,” the latest update read.
The British defense services believe that this way of improvising weapons indicates a possible depletion of the Russian weapons stock.
