More than 600 people were injured after a “catastrophic” tornado hit Little Rock, in the US state of Arkansas, reports the local press.
In Little Rock, the population was evacuated to a shelter. There are images of destroyed houses, felled trees and neighborhoods with signs of total destruction.

The Storm Prediction Center issued warnings for certain parts of the Midwestern United States. In all, there are 33 states on “high alert” over the weekend.
