The information was first reported by CNN, which claims that the former president was playing golf at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. The course was immediately closed, according to a family source.
According to the television channel, the Secret Service reported on the social network X that it is working with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to investigate “a protective incident involving Donald Trump.” The Secret Service said the episode occurred shortly before 2 p.m.
In July, the former US president was shot during an election rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, as he spoke in an open space in front of dozens of people. After loud bangs rang out following several gunshots, the Republican candidate was rescued by officers after falling to the ground.
