After the US, American actor Kevin Spacey will face court tomorrow, Thursday, in London, where he is accused of committing four sexual assaults on men.

The House of Cards star, whose career was cut short due to a series of allegations following the Harvey Weinstein scandal, faces charges of involvement in four sexual rapes against three men between March 2005 and April 2013. During this time, Spacey worked as the artistic director of theater in London.
Metropolitan Police said in a statement: “Charges were formally filed against 62-year-old Kevin Spacey on Monday. He added: “He will appear in Westminster Magistrates’ Court at 10:00 (9:00 GMT) on Thursday 16 June.”
At the end of May, the British prosecutor’s office gave a go-ahead to begin these processes.
Kevin Spacey then expressed “failure” with the decision, but announced his intention to appear before a British judicial authority. He also added in a statement sent to the American ABC morning program, “I will defend myself against these allegations and I am confident that I will prove my innocence.”
Two counts of sexual harassment in March 2005 in London against the same plaintiff. Spacey was also accused of committing another sexual assault on the second prosecutor in August 2008, who was also accused of forcing her to have sex without her consent.
Finally, Kevin Spacey was charged with a fourth sexual assault against a third prosecutor in April 2013 in Gloucester, southwest England.
London police said the plaintiffs, whose names have not yet been released, are in their 30s and 40s now.
Scotland Yard has launched an investigation after receiving complaints of sexual harassment relating to the actor, some of which allegedly took place in London’s Lambeth, home of the Old Vic Theater, where Spacey was artistic director from 2004 to 2015.
These allegations stem from the Weinstein scandal, an American film producer who has been the victim of several allegations of sexual harassment and assault published by The New York Times and The New Yorker magazine in the fall of 2017.
Note that Spacey has also been the subject of an investigation in the United States, where he has been accused of sexual harassment in the state of Massachusetts (east coast). But in July 2019, the charges were lowered. In July 2016, he was accused of sexually harassing an 18-year-old while working at a bar after he forced her to drink alcohol.
In late May, Spacey appeared before a New York judge in a due process hearing in a civil case filed by actor Anthony Rapp, according to U.S. court documents. Anthony Rapp accused Kevin Spacey of trying to seduce him sexually as a teenager, which Kevin Spacey denied, and the case was dismissed in a criminal trial.
The torrent of accusations against Spacey has had dire consequences for the career and reputation of the two -time Academy Award winner for her roles in American Beauty and Mobile Suspects.
The accusations also prompted streaming network Netflix to remove Spacey from the House of Cards series, in which he played protagonist Frank Underwood.
