Production companies no longer only offer short-episode series, but have recently also turned to musical performances. These types of dramatic designs featuring platforms are all the rage now. These projects are addressed to young people and teenagers looking for musical series that include dance performances with a light dramatic look.

In this context, Lebanese director Jo Bou Eid is currently in Egypt filming an Arabic musical series originally titled Majnoona Bey (drama by Amr Medhat). The new work is an Arabic version of the four-time Emmy-winning American series Crazy Ex, starring Maryam Elkhosht, Adam El-Sharqawi and Amir El-Masri, and each episode includes several show songs.
The piece was produced by the Sally Wally Company and is a cocktail of drama, singing, show and music.
In this context, the information indicated that the production company had contracted choreographer Hadi Awad to direct the dance panels at “Majnuna Bik”, which consists of more than 30 stages. Note that Avada is the choreographer who took care of the paintings included in the Star Academy talent search program.
The information also suggests that the series reflects the story of a young girl suffering from a serious psychological illness, who decides to make decisions that she believes will bring her happiness.
Notably, Joe Boo Aid recently moved from the world of music videos to the direction of drama, and the first season of Salon Zahra (written by Nadine Jaber/Shaheed App) by Nadine Njeim and Mutasem Al-Nahar, and Raqsa Matar (written by Piera Samaa / Shaheed App starring a group of Syrian and Lebanese stars led by Maksim Khalil.
