Culture and Finance work to “significantly improve” Lusa’s proposal

The Ministry of Culture told Lusa on Tuesday that, together with the Treasury, “it is working to significantly improve” the previous proposal presented by the Board of Directors of the news agency to the workers.

The Lusa workers, meeting in plenary session, approved a four-day strike —scheduled for this week—, between March 30 and April 2where they demand salary increases after rejecting an initial proposal from the administration.

On Monday, Lusa’s management made a new salary update proposal.

The management of the news agency presented a counterproposal salary increases of 74 euros in 2023with union structures advocating that the value be kept below that claimed.
