According to the carrier, minimum services were decreed, by decision of the Arbitral Tribunal, namely, operation at 25% of the normal regime of routes 703, 708, 735, 736, 738, 742, 744, 751, 755, 758, 760 and 767, in addition to the operation of the special service for people with reduced mobility, according to transport requests.

The four unions that signed the agreement with Carris are the Transport Workers Union (SITRA), the Carris Workers Union Association (ASPTC), the National Union of Drivers and Other Workers (SNMOT) and the Service Workers Union. Carris (SITESE). ).

During the plenary session, and regarding the salary increase of 100 euros, Manuel Leal told Lusa that, after the last meeting, held in February, “the administration did not respond”, but “promised to continue with the negotiation of the remaining clauses of the company agreement.

According to a STRUP statement, “the proposal of 70 euros presented by the management is insufficient and does not respond to what the workers want and deserve”, in addition to the fact that the salaries do not reflect the “productivity gains” of Carris nor the increase in the cost of living.

Carris is responsible for the surface urban public transport service for passengers in the city of Lisbon, being, since February 1, 2017, managed by the Lisbon City Council.
