The Cannes International Film Festival is approaching and is scheduled to return to its usual dates in late spring, knowing that last year the festival was held in July, due to the repercussions of the Corona pandemic.

The curators of the Festival de Cannes have chosen the French actress Virginie Evira to present its 75th edition, where the 44-year-old star will present the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival, which will take place from May 17 to 28, 2022 on the Croisette, less than a year after taking the same stage, with the cast of Benedetta, directed by Paul Verhoeven.
Last year, the actress Doria Teller presented the closing act of the aforementioned festival.
It should be noted that Virginie Evira has become one of the greatest French actresses and was born in 1977 in Scherbeek, Belgium. As a resident of Paris, she wanted to obtain French citizenship. In 2017, she spoke to the microphone “Philip Vandel” in “Everything and its Opposite” in France News, where she said that she had trouble getting it. She said at the time: “I had to prove that she spoke French well. I had to present my graduation papers.
