The artistic director of the São João National Theater (TNSJ), Nuno Cardoso, was re-elected for the 2022-2024 triennium, according to an order published this Tuesday in Diário da República.
In this diploma, the offices of the Ministry of Culture and the Secretary of State for Finance emphasize that, “considering the quality and consistency of the work developed”since February 2019, by director Nuno Cardoso, in the artistic direction of TNSJ, in Porto, “it is believed that a line of continuity in programming is maintained”.
In this sense, the mandate of Nuno Cardoso as artistic director is renewed, exclusively, for the three-year period 2022-2024, highlights the order signed by the Minister of Culture, Pedro Adão e Silva, and by the Secretary of State for Finance. , Miguel Cruz.
Nuno Cardoso’s first term as artistic director of the TNSJ started on January 1, 2019.
