John Fetterman caresses Pennsylvania’s top Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate

Pennsylvania Lieutenant Gov. John Fetterman, a leading man in the US Senate Democratic primaries, suffered a stroke, according to a statement released by his campaign on Sunday.

“I wasn’t feeling well but focused on the campaign, so I ignored the signs and kept walking. Friday finally caught up with me,” Fetterman said. constant. “I had a stroke from congestive heart failure with arrhythmia in rhythm A for too long.”

The district governor expects him to be released “soon” and to return to the campaign path before the general elections in November.

“The doctors were confident I could get back on the road, but first I needed to wait a minute, rest a little and recover. There is a lot at stake in this race and I will be ready for tough battles in the future,” he said.

Despite Fetterman’s stroke, his campaign “doesn’t slow it down one iota.”

“But our campaign is not slowing down a point and we are on track to win Tuesday’s primary and take the Senate seat in November. Thanks for all the support and please go and vote,” Fetterman said.

Fetterman is expected to beat the Reps. Connor Lamb (D-PA) and State Representative. His Democratic opponent, Malcolm Kenyatta, is in the upcoming primary election.

The Pennsylvania Senate primary election will be held on Tuesday, May 17.
