New data shows that more than 99 percent of illegal immigrants enrolled in President Joe Biden’s Dedicated Dockets program in Los Angeles, California, had invalid asylum applications and subsequently received deportation orders.
In May 2021, the Biden administration launched the Dedicated Dockets program, an expedited asylum process that promises to secure border crossings through federal immigration courts within 300 days.
Data from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Center for Immigration Law and Policy show that only one percent of border crossers have a valid asylum claim under the city’s Dedicated Dockets program.
Meanwhile, it turned out that more than 99 percent of outlaws did not have a valid application for asylum and were therefore ordered to be deported from the United States. More than 72 percent of illegal aliens ordered to be deported did not show up for asylum hearings.
The shocking data comes after the Biden administration established an extensive “catch-and-release” network that freed more than 954,000 border and illegal crossings within the United States from February 2021 to April 2022.
These cross-border and illegal aliens have been released on the promise that they will register with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and face asylum hearings. UCLA data shows that very few people attend the hearings.
While a federal immigration judge has ordered more than 1.2 million illegal deportations from the United States, former ICE attorney Thomas Homan told Breitbart News that the Biden administration has only had one illegal deportation for every 100 people who successfully crossed the southern border illegally.
“The most historic illegal border crossing we’ve seen in this country’s history… That same year, ICE had the lowest number of deportations in the agency’s history,” Homan said.
