As the Florida Governor continues to “demagogue the energy companies,” President Joe Biden’s policies directly harm Americans. Ron DeSantis (right) at a press conference Wednesday.
“You know, he kept saying he’s going to shut down power production in this country,” DeSantis said, noting that the president is “now trying to demagogue the energy companies” as prices continue to rise, which set the record high.
“He said so, no more fossil fuels. He came into power and issued a huge executive order that basically shut down things like ANWR and Keystone and all the other stuff, and that’s the policy he’s been running and it’s ruining it now because people are angry that these are bad policies,” DeSantis said, adding that much of what America is going through is over Washington DC. explaining that it is a direct result of the “really bad policies” of the Democrats who have full control.
“You also print money and everything they do and say, ‘We spend too much money or print too much money,’ but you know, even if you Obama economists, that’s all. Come and tell me that printing trillions of dollars is a big mistake”, noting that inflation is actually worse than 8.6%, “because things really matter” is higher.
“It’s just the truth. These are the consequences of some bad decisions. And you know, there’s nothing wrong with admitting you were wrong and changing course. I don’t think you will,” said DeSantis, adding that the release of oil barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve “is not energy policy.”
DeSantis added that bad policies “could start to affect food security and everything else,” adding, “I hope I’m wrong about that.”
