Documents Show West Point Cadets Have Learned Critical Race Theory

Documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch show that the US Military Academy (West Point) teaches Critical Race Theory (CRT) students.

The documents, first reported by Fox News, came after the Department of Defense filed two lawsuits over documents related to student education at West Point.

“Our military is under attack from the inside,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a press release. “These documents show that the CRT’s racist anti-American propaganda was used to radicalize our rising Army leadership at West Point.”

They include CRT slides that teach cadets that “whiteness” is a privilege that must be “met” in order to understand racial inequality and slavery.

slide said:

To understand racial inequality and slavery, one must first turn to whiteness.

“White and colored people live in different life structures” – Frankenberg.

  • 1) Structural advantage is the realm of racial privilege.
  • 2) the perspective or place where whites see themselves and the rest of society.
  • 3) It refers to a set of cultural practices that are not usually labeled or named:

Ignore the white

  • This is a privilege.

  • have a higher education
  • Get recommended medical diagnostic tests
  • Get bank approval for a mortgage
  • own house
  • Get a promotion

Blacks are more common than whites:

  • living below the poverty line
  • Become a murder victim (6: 1)

According to Judicial Watch, the documents teach students that critical race theory “emerges from the field of law and examines how racism is promoted and perpetrated by organizing the institutions of everyday life.”

Another presentation titled “Education and Inequality at Work” featured a slide titled “Race and the Invisible Hand”. How White Networks Exclude Blacks at Work.

In another slide titled “Positive Action” in the same presentation, students were asked, “Do you think positive action creates positive action?” question will be asked. [sic] environment of “reverse discrimination”? Use the CRT to support your answer. ”

On the Integration Mysteries slide, cadets were also asked the following question: “What is the difference between desegregation and integration? How to contact the tenant? [sic] CRT in this idea?

Another presentation featured a slide titled “Critical Race Theory and Politics,” which outlined the principles of Critical Race Theory, such as “racism is commonplace,” “race is socially constructed,” and “White Americans primarily enjoyed civil rights law.” “

Representative Mike Waltz (R-FL) told Breitbart News:

Judicial Watch’s findings confirm what we uncovered last year that the indoctrination of critical race theory is taking place at one of our most prestigious military academies. These teachings are not only divisive, but they teach our future military leaders, who have pledged to protect and protect the United States, that our country is inherently racist, misogynistic, and colonialist. Camouflage is the only color that matters on the battlefield, and enemy shells absolutely don’t care about race. After the Republicans withdraw Congress, we will investigate further and put an end to these indoctrination.

Waltz first spoke to students about teaching CRT at West Point and spoke out against the military leadership at hearings last summer.

According to Breitbart News, Waltz also mobilized the notorious statement by Chief of Staff, General Mark Milley, that he wanted to understand “white anger.”

Waltz asked Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin why a lecture on “Understanding Whiteness and White Rage” was being held at West Point. While Austin agreed that this shouldn’t happen, Milley was invited by a Democratic congressman to respond to Waltz and said he thought it was important to study critical race theory in order to understand “white anger.”
