Sintoc and ANA meet this Tuesday for minimum strike services from August 19 to 21

The National Union of Civil Aviation Workers (Sintac) will meet, at the DGERT, with the ANA, the airport administrator, this Tuesday, to negotiate the minimum services for the planned strike between the 19th and the 21st of this month, according to a statement.

Thus, “the meeting between the General Directorate of Employment and Labor Relations [DGERT]Sintoc and ANA/VINCI will take place this Tuesday, August 9, at 10:30 a.m., at the DGERT facilities,” the union reported in the same note.

The purpose of the DGERT call is to negotiate an agreement on the minimum services to be provided on August 19 and 21, he said, with a view to negotiating an agreement on the minimum services and the necessary means to ensure them during 00:00 hours on August 19 and at midnight on August 21”.

“Sntac hopes that, in addition to the definition of the minimum services, at this meeting it will still be possible to reach an understanding with the employers – ANA/VINCI – that takes into account the proposals demanded by this union”, highlighted the union structure.

Syntac requested the “restitution of all contributions —until now suspended— for the Pension Fund of its workers”, and demanded that the airport administrator stop “trying to destroy the rights obtained for decades by ANA workers, through its proposals for a new EA [acordo de empresa] or, ultimately, keep the AE of 2015”.

The union still wants a “A worthy increase in the wages of its workerstaking into account its results and inflation” and “urgent measures to incorporate the missing human resources and restore the minimum necessary to safeguard airport security and safety at work”, assuring that ANA is witnessing “the inhuman burden on existing human resources.

The Synac and SQAC (Commercial Aviation Staff Union) unions announced, on August 1, a strike notice for the 10 national airports under concession by Vinci Aeroportos between August 19 and 21.

Given the inflexibility of the proposals presented by ANA/VINCI over the last year and the attempt to reduce the rights enshrined in the Company Agreement, attacking the rights won by workers for decades, Sintac and SQAC consider it urgent to put an end to this policy. blind and put an end to all this instability,” the unions said in a press release.
