A close relationship between the Chega and Vox led the party led by André Ventura to seek the experience of the party-irmão in Spain to obtain help for leaders and deputies, some of them with little political experience at the time when they stepped on the Assembleia da República for first time.
In addition to the various trips made in recent years by Chega leaders to Spain and vice versa, the Observer knows that between the elections that brought twelve deputies to the Cortes Generales and the inauguration, some members of the party were in Madrid to receive a training aimed at various areasalthough in a relaxed atmosphere and with informal conversations.
Faced with two parties whose paths and ideals are similar —Chega being the youngest and with a trajectory of affirmation similar to that of Vox a few years ago—André Ventura decided that it would be important take an entourage to spain to gain insight into how Chega can meet the challenges of getting bigger and the consequences that come with this exponential growth.
