In an interview with Observador, on the “Vichyssoise” program, Rui Afonso also guarantees that all the proposals presented by Chega regarding the State Budget for 2023 are accommodative and regrets that the socialists “cannot abstract from ideological blindness” until the point of approving proposals from the party led by André Ventura.
Regarding the internal life of Chega, the deputy refutes any criticism of the lack of internal democracy in the party and leaves one certainty. “I think that at this moment Chega is the most democratic party on the Portuguese political spectrum.”
