Romanian coach Florin Motroc of Bahrain’s East Riffa expressed his joy at his team’s victory over Syria’s Tishreen in the second round of the 2022 AFC Cup Group C competition.

The match ended with a score of 2:0, scored by Sami Al-Husseini in the 46th minute and Prince Agri in the 91st minute.

Motrok thanked the fans who came to cheer on the team and praised the players after they showed up with the required technical level, in addition to the playful approach that had been prepared prior to the showdown.

The East Riffa coach pointed out the need to remain focused ahead of the final showdown against the Palestinian Crescent, adding that if they had played the same way, they would have been able to break through to the top of the group and qualify.

Motroke believes that the secret to their success in overtime scoring from the first and second half is that they put in a lot of effort in practice and that the players keep fighting until the referee blows the whistle.

At the end of his speech, the Romanian coach emphasized the need to make some changes, since the players received a red card against Tishrin and everyone had the opportunity to show their technical abilities.
