Al-Burj Club is embarking on preparations for the 2022-2023 Lebanese Football Championship with very high ambition and enthusiasm, especially after the appointment of coach Osama Al-Saker as the team’s technical director, replacing coach Fuad Hegazy and the appointment of former star Abbas Atwi Onika as team manager .

The Al-Borg club began preparations and training for the next season at their stadium in Al-Mareij, led by Al-Saker, who conducted an interview with the electronic newspaper Al-Sport, in which he spoke about the aspirations and goals of the Al-Borg club for next season.

Al-Sagher confirmed that Al-Borg will be among the candidates for the championship next season, stressing that he is very happy to go through this experience with the club he represented as a player.

Al-Sagher said: “I have known the Al-Borg Club well for many years. This club has a big and prestigious name in Lebanese football and has a large fan base. I look forward to this experience and the ceiling of ambition is high, with or without Osama Al-Sagher.”

He continued: “I can say that Al Borg will be able to compete for the title. Everyone saw how the team, since its first season in the first division, was able to compete with Al Ahed, Al Najma and Al. Ansar, and formed a strong match for them and managed to finish third last season, so the signs are clear, says Al-Borg. His word and trust is high in the corridors of the club, there is a clear set of projects by the management of the club.

Al-Sagher praised the work the administration is doing at youth and youth team level, noting that it will draw on many young players in the first team.

Al-Borg have announced the signing of player Denis Titi as it is the first deal at foreign level.
In this context, Al-Sagher said that a number of foreign players would be judged shortly, explaining that one of them is Egyptian and the rest are from other African countries, while indicating at the same time that there is also the possibility of reinstating foreign players who were with team in its first season in the first degree before the start of the Corona crisis and the suspension of the league, stressing that the focus will be on the centers of the heart of the defense, the center of attention, and the heart of the attack.
