Turkish club Trabzonspor signed Egyptian Mahmoud Hasan Trezeguet from English club Aston Villa for 4 seasons for 4 million euros.

The club that won the Turkish title last season announced on their Twitter account: “Trezeguet has signed a contract, welcome to the team of champions, Mahmoud Trezeguet.”

On the other hand, Aston Villa said goodbye to their former player in a tweet in which he said: “We can announce the final transfer of Trezeguet to Trabzonspor. Everyone at the club would like to thank Trezeguet for all his contributions and we wish him well in his next step.”

Trezeguet previously played in the Turkish league with Kasim Pasha in the 2017 and 2019 seasons and played 65 league games with him, scoring 25 goals in 71 matches in all competitions before moving to Aston Villa in the summer of 2019 before was leased out. In the middle of last season at the Basaksehir club, he scored 6 goals in 10 matches.
