Norway’s Erling Haaland has named the team he wants to face Manchester City next season in 2023/2022 and has indicated that he is looking forward to facing traditional rivals Manchester United.

On the other hand, Manchester City’s new international striker was hoping to help his team win the Champions League during the rookie presentation ceremony at the Etihad Stadium.

When asked if the Champions League was his main goal after moving to City, he replied: “The Champions League is my favorite competition, so I think that’s the answer to your question.”

“Sometimes I see other players post trophy photos and say they wish they were you now, but I have to keep working hard and hopefully I can win some trophies in the future.”

And he added: “It’s a completely different level, the way they play matches and the way they play is what I want to be a part of.”

He promised his fans that he would be “a player who smiles a lot and works hard”, and concluded by warning his opponents, “I want to have fun, because when I’m having fun, I score goals.”
