A source in the Egyptian Al-Ahly confirmed the fact that the club moved to pay the fine imposed on Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahrab in favor of Zamalek.
In an official statement, the Zamalek club announced the decision of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee to suspend Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahrab”, a player of Al Ahly, for 6 months, until he pays the fine signed on him in the amount of 2.4 million dollars, in addition to 5% percent of the amount starting from June 20, 2019 and due to his departure from Zamalek in the summer of 2019 to Desportivo Aves as part of a free transfer deal due to the expiration of his contract with Al Bayda Castle.
In their statements to Al Shoruq, the source indicated that they are not a party to the electrification crisis with the Zamalek club, but they will definitely support and support him.
He added that the player has contributions to Al-Ahli, like the rest of the players, which are paid on a regular basis, and if he asks to receive them and send them to FIFA, the approval will be made immediately, but paying a fine for him is not at all on the issue of getting Al-Ahly out of the crisis forever.
He came to the conclusion that what was circulated in the media about the player’s request from Al-Ahly to impose a fine on FIFA and pay it in exchange for his contract with the club is completely untrue.
