At the tables of the Mont LaSalle Club, the Lebanese Cup Table Tennis Age Group competition began, with two hundred and twenty male and female players who were divided into 6 age groups for men and women.
On the first day, there were culminations in three categories for men: under 11 years old, 12-13 years old and 14-15 years old. Here are the results:
– Under 11 category: Ahmed Al-Hijavi (Antranik Sin El Fil) won the title after beating his brother Adam Al-Hijavi (Antranik Sin El Fil) 3/0 in the final match Victor Ghajar (Rasmuska) and Kamal Skafi ( i.e. Saida) took third place. .
– 12-13 year old category: Al Ghadir Jabeshit’s Ahmed Fahs won the title after defeating teammate Rames Al Dakduki 3/1 in the final match. In third place were Ralph Assaf (Baabda Athlete) and Daniel Roy Saqr (Rasmushka).
14-15 category: In this category, Al Liwaa Saida’s Kareem Abdullah made a big surprise by beating Al Bara’em’s Mohamed Fas 3-0 in the final match. Eduardo Pasha (Almon LaSalle) finished third place. the seat of I Youssef Nasser (Al-Ahly Sayda).
The matches were presided over by federal referees Abdo Abu Jude, Edvar Nehme, Eli Suleiman and Ahmed Al Arab.
The matches were watched by the chief referee, the head of the refereeing committee, Joseph Al-Aqiqi, and the head of the technical committee, Fadi Kassis.
In conclusion, the Secretary General, Dr. Pierre Hany, Al-Aqiqi and the chaplain presented cups and medals to the winners.
