As soon as the French national team woke up from the Paul Pogba scandal, another case broke out in the current camp after Mbappe refused to participate in a photo shoot due to a dispute over image rights.

Mbappe has announced that he will miss the photo session organized by the French Federation and its sponsors.

Passionate about his image and realizing that his presence in the national team is a commercial attraction, Mbappe believes that the agreement he signed in 2017 with the French Football Federation regarding image rights has expired.

Like all first-team players, the PSG striker signed a document according to which each player receives 25,000 euros for each match with the national team, in return, the French Federation can sell the rights to his image to sponsors.

But on the advice of his lawyer, mother and agent, the player believes the 2017 contract is a dead letter because the use of image rights in sports has since changed.

Despite the controversy, the 23-year-old wanted to make it clear that his commitment to the national team is impeccable.
