The director of the Lebanese national football team, Hossam Dakduki, expressed optimism about the team’s performance in the Asian U17 qualifying tournament, which will be held in Kuwait. In an interview with Al-Sport Electronic newspaper, Dakduki indicated that the team arrived and went through pre-qualifier training without any injuries in preparation for the meeting with Bahrain.
The director of the Lebanese national team added that after returning from the Arab Cup in Algeria, Spanish coach Daniel Jimenez developed a plan to correct and eliminate the problems he had suffered, so that the team would undergo six weekly training sessions in addition to the match. in order to make sure that there were no additional technical problems during the last three weeks. Under the leadership of Maad Badni, he helped improve the team’s fitness level so that the team was ready for the qualifiers in the best possible way, hoping that the players would reconcile and be able to compete for first place in the third group, uniting it with Oman, Iraq and Qatar.
