July 15 (UPI) – ‘Terminal List’ star Constance Wu said she tried to commit suicide after being bullied on social media, but a friend found her and took her to the hospital.
Crazy Rich Asians returned to social media on Thursday after a three-year hiatus.
The break stemmed from the criticism he received for saying he was angry with the 2019 ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat’s renewal and forcing him to quit another project.
On Thursday, Wu said she has decided to turn to social media to promote her book, Creating the Stage.

“I’m afraid to go back to social media because I almost lost my life because of it: 3 years ago when I accidentally tweeted about the sequel to my TV show, it caused anger and embarrassment on the internet, which made me uncomfortable. pretty serious,” he wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
“I was upset by what I said and when I learned that I was being offended by the Asian-American community through a private message from another Asian actress, I felt I didn’t deserve to live anymore,” she added. They’d be better off without AsAms and me. Looking back, it seems surreal that some DM convinced me to take my life, but that’s what happened. Fortunately, a friend found me and took me to the emergency room.
