On Tuesday, Meghan Markle launched her new ‘Archetypes’ Spotify podcast series with a feminist tirade, complaining that ambition has become “terrible, terrible” for women.
The Duchess of Sussex devoted her first episode to a conversation with tennis great Serena Williams, where the former royal explored the concept of “ambition”.
“I personally don’t remember feeling the negative connotations of the word ‘ambitious’ until I started dating my current husband. [Prince Harry]said the duchess. People daily report.
“And ambition is, uh, a terrible, terrible thing for a woman – to some. So it was really hard for me to lift it as I felt the negativity behind it. ”

Meghan Markle promotes Archetypes as “a podcast where we scrutinize, research and take down labels that try to hold women back.”
During the episode, the Duchess also talked about how she wrote to Hillary Clinton to pressure Procter & Gamble to advertise dish soap. The ad was aimed at women whom Meghan Markle found objectionable.
“It’s an awakening to the millions of ways our society is trying to absorb women, hold women back, tell women who and what they are and can be,” she says.
