The Arena active protection system was tested using foreign ammunition seized in a special military operation recently.
It should be noted that the active protection system “Arena-M” is capable of hitting guided missiles and bombs that try to hit the tank from above. And its mass industrial production will make Russian tank crews safe.
It is worth noting that the basis of the system is a fast-moving and interference-proof radar. The radar detects any danger targeting the armored vehicle (for example, an anti-tank missile) and gives the order to destroy it. For this purpose, guided bullets distributed in the body of the tank are used.
