Scarborough said, “Let me tell you, I grew up reading the Bible as a Southern Baptist, maybe an apostate Baptist, but I still know the Bible. Jesus never once spoke about abortion, and it has been going on since ancient times. It was in his time. I didn’t mention him.”
He added: “For those who make the gospel of Jesus Christ a problem, this is heresy. If you don’t believe me, if it pisses you off, why don’t you do something you haven’t done in a long time? Open the Bible, open the New Testament, read the red letters. You won’t see it there. But there are those who use Jesus as a shield to force the raped 10-year-old girl into hell on earth. Also, when Jesus speaks of caring for the helpless living in despair, they conveniently omit chapters of the New Testament because the legislators of this state believe that life begins at conception and ends at birth.
