In detail, U.S. police confirmed that 10 people were killed by a gunman wearing a bodyguard and carrying a powerful rifle, and three others were injured, two of them in critical condition, outside and inside a grocery store in Jefferson Street. According to the “Buffalo News” newspaper.
The police officer who was present at the scene, stating that the massacre took place in the supermarket, stressed that what happened was, in his own words, like a horror movie.
While one of the deceased was a recently retired police officer in Buffalo, he worked in store security, while two sources reported.
Five bodies were also found in the parking lot, according to police.

For his part, the store’s operations manager, Shawnell Harris, told the newspaper that he heard gunshots and ran to the back door to see the shooter, who described him as a white man in military camouflage.
He added that he heard about 70 bullets at a time.
It is worth mentioning that the police arrested the killer without announcing the reason for the attack.
A video was also posted on Twitter showing a detainee being detained by police outside the crime scene, without confirming whether he was actually the perpetrator.
